1. Features
Compact extruded packing made of PTFE graphite compound of fibrous constitution. High chemical and thermal resistance, compactness of structure and volumetric stability are among the essential features found in UNIVERDIT. Furthermore, UNIVERDIT has extremely good resistance to gas permeation and has the ability to embed abrasive particles. UNIVERDIT remains self-lubricating even during extended periods of operation and therefore reduces friction on shafts and spindles.
Generally, UNIVERDIT must be installed with end rings. Depending on the type of load or stresses involved, RAMILON 4586 , AROLAN 6215 or ALCHEM 6375 are recommended for this purpose.

Alkalis, all forms of solvents, alcohols, ketones, esters, oils, acids, hot water, boiler lye, brine, ammonia.
Exceptions: strongly oxidising acids.
