1. Features
UNIFLEX is manufactured from a special yarn with a high carbon content, and a newly developed PTFE-graphite im-pregnation. The impregnation maintains an excellent bond to the yarn over the complete life of the packing, even when used at the upper temperature limits. These features make UNIFLEX suitable for use in "dry-running" applications.
The high carbon content ensures the packing is both flexible and extrusion resistant. The thermal and volumetric stability provides superior sealing performance with minimal gland compression.
